Earthquake of Japan 16 March 2022

In eastern Japan on Wednesday March 16 night,7.3-magnitude earthquake was felt.

after which there was a panic situation in the Japanese capital Tokyo.

There is no news of any kind of loss of life and property due to the earthquake. But more than 20 lakh houses have affected.

 

The Japan Meteorological Agency has issued a tsunami alert for parts of the northeast coast. 

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 60 km off the coast of the Fukushima region.

TEPCO tweeted that it is investigating operations at the Fukushima nuclear plant.

TEPCO is a Tokyo Electric Power Company.
